Dr Stephen...

... is a four-time award winer. He is the author of seven books, and over 50 papers on safety, risk management, and decision-making. He also writes for Treasure Trails and The Aviation Society. Stephen is an accomplished keynote speaker, as well as entertaining guests on cruise ships. Away from work, he is a Master Scuba Diver, and has probably the most-complete collection of astronaut, and F1 driver autographs in the world.

Stephen is a successful business entrepreneur. He was a statutory director of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH; 1998-2003) and IOSH Services Limited (2004-08); and a member of IOSH Council (1998-2012). In 1999, he founded consulting group CRS, and as its Managing Director, grew it from 3 to 34 consultants, prior to its sale to HIBL in 2014. In 2017, he founded AllSafe Group Limited.

With 40 years' experience from assignments in 60 countries on six continents for clients including Chevron, Coca-Cola, McDonald's, RasGas, and Saudi Aramco, Stephen is a Chartered Fellow of IOSH (CFIOSH), an Emeritus Professional of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), and a Fellow of IEMA (FIEMA). He has an MBA with Distinction (Leicester, 1995), and was conferred his doctorate by Middlesex University London in 2021.
